Marie was born on December 16, 1944 in Caposele, Italy to the late Salvatore and Rosa Merola

She was selfless and so generous, always putting the needs of her children, grandchildren and brothers first. Marie was also an avid reader, loved watching old Italian movies, and she was a bit of a guru at trading stocks. Above all, she loved her family and treasured every moment spent with them.
She is survived by her loving children; Denise Sisto and her husband Ash Salib, Debbie Brown and her husband Bobby, and Nicola Sisto and his wife Tonya. Her cherished grandchildren: Alexandria, Anthony, Brielle, Zachary, Gianna and Isabella. Her caring brothers: Michele Merola, Alfonso Merola and Gerard Merola and many nieces and nephews.
